The Rutan Defiant is an in-line twin experimental aircraft with canard configuration designed by Burt Rutan. It has four seats and is a roomy and comfortable sports- and travel plane. It is mainly constructed from fiber glass. Full dual controls with a side stick on each side. Auto pilot integrated with Dynon EFIS. Same builder/owner from 1993 to present. LN-DDD was built in Norway by myself and my project partners during the period 1993 to 2000. First flight was September 16th 2000. It has been in regular use ever since. Typical cruise speed: 160 Kts. Typical fuel consumption at cruise: 65 Litres/hour Fuel: 100 LL. Fuel capacity: 400 litres.
