Fournier RF-4 D

I have to sell my stunning Fournier RF4D which is in great condition. She has been very well looked after by me and her previous owners. These amazing aircraft do not come up for sale very often, simply because once you have one you do not sell. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a “poor man’s Spitfire”. The handling qualities are very good and the controls are beautifully balanced. You can take her out for aerobatics, a cross country or even soaring. This RF4D has particularly wonderful performance thanks to an upgraded engine and propeller. The new engine has 40% more horse power than the original and the custom made Hercules propeller gives a respectable cruise speed of 80-90 kt. Operating costs are minimal thanks to the efficient design of the RF4D. Fuelburn is 7-9 liters / h and MOGAS is ok. She benefits from an 8.33 radio and a mode S transponder.
